In October of 2000,
the people from whom I had purchased Adrianna 18 months previously
contacted me to say "we have Adrianna's little brother and we want you to have him".
I wasn't looking for another horse
and quite honestly, it was the promise that if I purchased him they would give me Pegasus
that got me to make the trip to TN.
who could resist???
Just eight months old,
he and his little tippy ears ran right through my protests of "I don't do babies!"
and he returned home with me.
The plan was that I would put him under saddle and sell him,
but quickly he showed me that he was just like his big sister,
smart, talented, and going to be lots of fun, and maybe I should not be so quick to send him along.
His first show he won a blue ribbon with a young Georgia Hertz
and from them on, there was no more talk of selling him.
Like his big sister, Luc proved to be versatile and quickly learned to do many things.
Like his sister, he can easily move from the lesson ring to the show ring and back.
He's a decorated show horse, a star of our Open Barn presentations, a fairly game field hunter
and always, always the class clown.
